LIFESTYLE: Shedding light on Daylight Saving Time
"Daylight saving time (DST) is the practice of advancing clocks during the lighter months so that evenings have more daylight and mornings have less. Typically clocks are adjusted forward one hour near the start of spring and are adjusted backward in the autumn."
How exciting, that means that soon we will be getting one more hour of sunshine during the day! This is extra exciting for me seeing as since we moved house in November, our garden is now probably less than a quarter of the size it was (boo, I miss my amazing garden) and the sun shine has always been replace by shadows by 2pm. This is something I’ve been complaining about alot haha my mum had been trying to convince me that the clock changes means we get more hours of sun in our tiny new garden, so I’m super looking forward to seeing if she’s right!
I now won’t have to wait long to see as tomorrow is the day the clocks change! We are having our first BBQ of the year hopefully it will, it'd be great if it does!
