The hotel itself was so pretty and we both loved just spending time there. 

We ate breakfast outside in the sun every morning. I didnt really want breakfast included but Andrew did and again, I'm glad he made me because it was really lovely. Everything was so well presented and I loved that we had a reason to get out of bed early and make the most of the whole day!

How pretty is the ASOS beach dress*. Perfect for breakfast to beach!

 One night, we visited went to the hotels own restaurant, Pez Playa. It was pretty expensive but I had won the main course over on their twitter page so we only had to pay for starters and drinks. The food was delicious, we had torreznos to start followed by paella - duh. We also had lovely views out over the beach. The only thing that wasn't great was the service but we overlooked that because it meant more time with out lovely view!

After a day at the beach, I came back to see that Andrew had ordered a plate of chocolate covered strawberries to the room! mmm

and with so many mirrors around it was hard not to take a few bikini selfies every day

When my parents decided we are going away over christmas I wasnt sure if I was happy or sad about it! Obviously I am very excited to go on holiday so I'm just going to focus on that and make the most of  the Christmas cheer whilst we're still in the UK. Packing for a summer holiday whilst its snowing outside is a bit of a strange experenice although it does make me excited for some warmth! I thought I'd put together a post with some of my poolside essentials!

This pretty new bikini was sent to me for my holiday by the lovely people at South Beach when I couldn't make their event last month! I have been loving white bikinis for a few years now and this one makes a change with its lovely crochet details. I also love the little gold star beads at the end of the ties! To go with my white swimwear, I'm going with silver nails that way I can look a bit put together but still secretly wear my christmas sparkly. This one is from OPI.

Next up are my Ray Bans. I have always wanted a pair and debated on whether to get them year after year! In the end I finsihed up with two pairs! Both these and my wayfarers are brown because the black is just a little too dark for my colouring. I only take one pair away at a time because I dont actually wear them too often (due to not being able to see) so this time I've picked the Aviators.

and lastly, entertaiment! I only ever read magazines whilst I'm on holiday so I'll be picking up a few more at the airport to finish whilst I'm sunbathing. And for when I'm done with those, out comes the trusty Ipod nano! 

Most of my Christmas was spent around the pool but if I were to go back to Tenerife however, I would love to spend more of my time there exploring. I have since learnt that the Canary Islands are know to have some of the most varied landscapes in the world and as I've grown up, I am much more into seeing what a place has to offer! I'd love to get out of the hotel and eat some local food or join a walking tour and see the volcanic trails.

Tenerife has so much more to offer than the inside of its holiday resorts!

Before I left I showed you guys my bikini collection, now that I have actually worn (most of) them I  wanted to give you a better review. I was able to photograph them on with a relevant background rather than just standing in my room like an idiot haha. 

 I only actually got a chance to wear three of them since we were so busy sightseeing, but I knew that my Triangl had to be one! Obviously these neoprene bikinis are a huge new craze - it was exciting for me to wear a bikini that wasnt made out of the conventional material! I loved how thick it was! 

I usually have issues with bikini tops, I have to buy size 16 for the cups but they have to tie with string so they aren't too loose, (this is also a problem if you cant buy seperate sizes, but luckily with Triangl, you can!) but I was super pleased with this top, I actually had to order a small so that it would fit my back as if a bandau is loose around the back you have no chance of keeping it up haha. Although the cup was a tiny bit small, not that anyone other than me would notice, I think I'm just used to very covering bikinis, it was super supportive and perfect size otherwise. It was so lovely to have a supportive bra but no wires omg so comfortable. It was perfect for all aspects that I wanted, playing around in the sea, sunbathing and jumping on Andrews back while he walked me around in the pool haha.

Since I was wearing such a pretty bikini, I thought why not take my super pretty Zatchel to the beach too - I know its not a conventional beach bag but since it was a private beach was just behind the hotel and I only needed a towel and sunglasses I thought it was the perfect opportunity - it looked amazing sparkling in the sun!

Finished it all off with my new Havianas which have put an end to my years of wearing £1 Primark ones although I didn't wear them for that long, know one in Thailand seems to we shoes that often haha

I'm back from Thailand (cryy) and want to write up so much as I can. I am really one of those people who like to look back on their memories, documented rather than just in my head which is why I love to take photos so much! This little thing takes it one step further and I get an actual paper image, it really was the perfect little souvenir to have at the end of each da y(Huge thanks to Jessops for supplying me with the films!). Now, as much as I love it, it was a little tricky to use and I did take a lot of bad ones in the process but once you get the hang of it, its so much fun!

We took 23 photos and out of that 15 were good! Not great, but not terrible for my first experience with it plus I think if I was actually taking the photos myself they would have been alot better since trying to explain it to Thai people who don't speak English is quite hard haha. So here are a few things we learnt along the way:

Framing

Andrew took both of these and you can tell the difference in his framing. The one on the left was the taken on the first night, the first time he used the camera and its actually great for a first ever shot but the one of the right was taken nearer to the end of the holiday and he really got the hang of it there. Once you get used to the idea that what you see in the viewfinder is not what that photo will look like its alot easier. The perfect framing in the viewfinder always cuts off the bottom so I suggest that you find the frame in your viewfinder, then point it down just a little before shooting!

Exposure

Unlike my SLR, using the right setting on this camera is actually important, I'm so used to using it on Auto (naughty photography student) that I just though the same with this but it really is essential that you change the setting to fit your surroundings each time! It's very easy, and is just a matter of twisting the dial to inside mode, sunny, cloudy or whatever but it makes a huge difference on whether your photos are over or under exposed! Over exposed and everything is white, this actually only happened twice and under exposed and everything is black, this happened alot more often. I found it would happen when quite alot if you the lighting and settings were fine but you were just too far away from the subject. I also found it would happen, if you set it to sunny and stand in the shade, it doesn't work, the sunny setting works best when its sunny and your actually standing in the sun too, was that obvious?!

Distance

I'm still not too sure on this one, I found that most of the time, the photos looked better when you were closer to the camera, the photo below with the beach in the background was the only one with a bit of distance that came out well - it was taken by a woman who spoke English so that may have had something to do with it too.

Andrew and I are going to Thailand next week and strangely for me, I've only just started packing haha. Yesterday, though, I did start to get all my new bikinis together so I could decide whether it was worth buying another one and I realised that I had already got four new ones this year, what?! I don't remember doing that hahah but I do know that before I checked, I already ordered two new ones which I have coming in the post, oops

Wonder woman Bikini - *George at ASDA

ASDA?! Shocking, I know, I would never have thought to look there for a nice bikini but when I did look online, there were loads of lovely ones! I don't know why I liked this so much but I really do haha I've never even seen wonder woman but you know me and I love the bright colours and bold shapes all edged with gold! Andrew seemed pretty pleased with it too haha, Cheeky

Triangl - Molly Rosewolf*

If you are a blogger, you will know what Triangl is! They are an australian brand who arrived on instagram and have taken over the blogging community and now they even have celebrities interested! The main thing that makes them different is the material, each bikini is made from neoprene, the same stuff as a wetsuit. It's super thick and comes in all sorts of pretty pastel and bright colours and is very supportive! It also comes with its own matching little beach bag which is such a nice little extra!

Primark - Pink Bikini

I get a new bikini from Primark every summer. They always have fun designs and seem to last me quite well not to mention being really, really cheap, I got both of these (top and bottom) for just £10. I love the colour of this one and it had underwires and stong cups, so its very supportive and comfortable and I love the cute little detailing on the bottoms.

Lanzarote Bikini - Boux Avenue

I was eyeing up this bikini for months but it was just too expensive for me, it is near enough the exact same as the pink one from primark but costs £35 more! It was only when I attended a Boux Avenue press day and was given a voucher that I ran back to the shop and bought it straight away. The orange is so bright and is going to look so amazing up against a tan. And again, it's also very supportive which is a big thing for me!

Woo, I'm going on holiday in just over a month, and this weather is making me so excited.  I'm really looking forward to being able to relax with Andrew and my family! We're going on a cruise around the mediterranean for two weeks. Hopefully there'll be lots of sun so obviously this is a great excuse for me to go shopping, especially for some new swimwear! 

Missguided have caught my eye with their newly released one pieces, they are so different and unique and I love that rather than a pattern, they are all printed with images, and images of food at that! Even better.

Over the past few years I wouldn't even consider wearing a one piece, I just love bikinis too much but these are really making me think twice. They have such fun designs on them, I just want them all and as always Missguided are quite reasonable with the prices, they are all £15 each.
