Hey Guys,

Today is going to be super busy, I've still got half a room to pack up and a whole wall of posters to take down before we move on Thursday so I'm going to leave you with a post I wrote during the week, organised, eh?

Just wanted to tell you about a super fun event I attended on saturday with Matalan. It was odd for me to have a daytime event and on a Saturday as normally I run out to them staight after work for the evening. After a wonderful lay in until about 9 (ahaha yeah thats a long lay in for me!) I got ready and made my way down to Knightsbridge to the Bulgari Hotel, it was very posh, polished wall and doormen, but what else would you expect from a hotel in Knightsbridge really!

I met Robyn and we arrived together, we both took a glass of champagne and went to mingle with the girls, check out the new collection and eat the most delicious canapés, if you know me well you will know that I am a canapé fiend, I am the girl who is happy to take another one and another one, and another haha there were mini burgers and asparagus wrapped in bacon followed by cute little macaroons and little chocolate hot pots with cream on top mmm I could live on canapés.

After all of that we made our way to the hotel's very own cinema to watch Midnight in Paris which was lovely, we all took a bag of popcorn, a glass of champagne and made ourself comfy. The film was very different style for me but I enjoyed it! I thought it was a really nice idea for an event!

When the event finished the girls and I made our way to the station to leave but got so engrossed in converstation we stood outside the station talking for a good half hour before deciding to relocate to Starbucks to finish off our day with a coffee, or in my case a frappochino!

Overall it was a great day and I really enjoyed myself, Thankyou to Matalan for making it happen and all the girls for making it extra fun!

The Chalk girls always put on the best events and with the launch of Schwarzkopf Got2B All Star 10-In-1 Styling Treatment, they organised a night of bowling at All Star Lanes for us! The night was loads of fun but pretty dark so I haven't got great images for you. As usual it was lovely to catch up with all the girls and do a bit of bowling too.

There was loads of food from mini burgers to mini brownies and endless cocktails each complete with a cocktail unbrella!

We all also got our hair done which is something that I dont do ver often! I have no idea what I am doing so I just asked for 'straight please' haha. I used to straighten my hair every day but it has literally been years since I have seen it looking straight and smooth so I was pretty amazed when she managed to de-frizz my wavy hair to a perfect sleek look - using the new10-in-1 product of course. She also covered the tips in argan oil which I think is something I really should start doing to help keep my hair healthy.

It really made me think about hair care and what I can do to keep my hair looking and feeling healthy as well as investing in some argan oil - I dont even know where you can buy stuff like that lol but I do know it made my hair so much softer when the stylist used it on me. I did some research and came across these Hair Care Tips and this infographic (which also suggest hair oil) but lots of other things I can think about too! I'm not a fizzy drink or juice kind of person so I only drink water but the problem is, I dont drink enough of it so thats interesting to learn that it can effect your hair as well as your skin!

#PrimarkAW15

I always look forward to Primark's press day as it is the shop I buy most of my stuff in! I was literally just there this morning (I bought two bikinis for £1 each!), I was there last night and I popped in before work on Thursday too and bought something each time! As for the press day, I was not disappointed! I fell in love with loads of wintery pieces - especially these super cute little pom pom pumps and will be buying a pair for sure as soon as they hit stores!

Barry M Festival Dinner

This was just a lovely get together for dinner at The Hospital Club in aid of Festival Season coming up. Adam showed us some simple festival looks with lots of gold glitter and really inspired me! Then we all sat down and ate together at the most amazing pretty festival themed tables! We all left with a goodie bag full of festival goodies from make up to ear plugs haha. Thanks Barry M for having me along!

LUSH Stratford Launch

The lovely LUSH PR girls invited me along to the new store opening at Stratford Westfield which was is my local when it comes to LUSH (apart from when I pop into oxford circus after work.) It was a super quick one for me as I was meeting a friend for dinner but of course I made some time to have a look around the new store and even got to make my own bath bomb. The new store is only a couple of shops away from its old location but it is airy and spacious and I'm looking forward to my next trip to pick up some new bits! I even heard that they might be stocking some Oxford Circus exclusives at some point!

#CelebrateSummer With Swimwear356

Swimwear356 certainly picked well when they decided to host their rooftop #CelebrateSummer party on one of the hottest days in the past ten years. I had just left a horrible claustrophobic event at Mahiki and rushed to Maddison's to enjoy some sunshine. The drinks were flowing from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. There was loud music playing and an amazing atmosphere as well as lots of pretty bikinis laid out everywhere. It was the perfect evening and I will be definitely be making reservation for Maddison's again - I can't wait to go back. I also left this one with a pretty impressive goodie bag full of holiday essentials - how amazing is this Models Own polish they gave me?!

Xmas In July - Waitrose

Waitrose was magical. It brought that amazing Christmas magic and excitement to July and even though it was the hottest day ever it has made me super excited for Christmas. There were so many delicious things to look forward too and of course I got to sample everything. I fell in love with all the super cute cakes with faces, everything covered in edible glitter and the big roast dinner laid out on the table. I definitely stuffed myself silly but how could I resist? It's been a whole 6 months since I ate anything christmassy!

The Shake Shack Stratford Launch

I was super excited when a real life invite landed on my doorstep inviting me and a plus one to the launch of the new shake shack at westfield! Andrew and I are known to spend a crazy amount of time at westfield, whether its shopping, eating (usually both), the cinema, the casino, the champagne and sky bars and usually staying the night at the premier inn (ok so we I love Westfield) so having one of our favourite resturants open up there is amazing! And after seeing the lovely store and the very friendly staff, (who were actually amazing considering how crazy the event was - smiling all night, dancing and getting involved and very very efficient) we will definitly be back for more!

#PD1stBirthday

I have followed Public Desire and their amazing shoes since they first started so I was super excited to get an invite to their 1st birthday party. I didnt stay too long as I had a whole loads of events (on a work night as well!) We drank super crazy processo and capri sun cocktails with giant fizzy cola bottles in them, ate yummy chinese food out of paper boxes and looked at all the amazing shoes.

PD are for sure the best place to get the next biggest trend. The are so ahead of the game that they are usually the ones starting the trend in the first place.

Gu #DesertIsland

To celebrate the launch of Gú's new single puds (before they were sold as a two pack) they set up a super fun pop up tucked away in Soho called Desert Island and I was invite along for 10 minutes of me time. I didnt really know what to expect.

As I arrived, I was asked what pudding I'd like, I thought I'd try something I wouldnt usually buy while I had to opportunity so I went for the lemon cheesecake, it was also super hot out so I thought that would be the more refreshing choice as apposed to a hot chocolate one haha logical right?

After picking St Lucia as my paradise of choice, I was led down the stairs to a room set up with a table and one chair for me to enjoy my dessert undisturbed. There were fake trees, all the sounds and smells of what I can imagine St Lucia is like plus the giant screen in front of me showing the beach.

I didnt take many photos since I only had 10 minutes and I wanted to make the most of them! It was pretty odd but super fun and I left with a bag full of desserts too! Only in London.

Boohoo Press Day

I ran to this one again during my lunch break - Luckily it was only down the road so it didn't take to long to pop in and get back. There were so many pretty collections to look through from Retro to Futuristic! As you know from my New Look Wishlist post I am loving suede at the moment and it looks like Boohoo have a lot of pretty suede to come so I am looking forward to that! I also loved their futuristic galactica range which was all very shiny with interesting cuts and materials! I went back to work and ordered some really lovely new dresses straight after this event so watch out for the outfit posts to come!

Chalk PR Spring Press Evening

On Thursday evening I was off to the Sanderson (also down the road from work - and one of my favourite hotels in London) for the Chalk PR spring press day. There were different stations for each of their brands each with their own expert to talk us through them. It was lovely to catch up with all my blogger friends as most of them happened to be there all at the same time! We were all super impressed with the afternoon tea. The Sandersons tea is something I've always wanted to experience so I was very pleased to see it all laid out on the table.

Godiva Ice Cream Re-Launch

It rained on this day but that didnt mean I was going to turn down an ice cream launch. Godiva invited us to their Regent Street store for the re-launch of their soft chocolate and vanilla ice cream just in time for summer and it was delicious! Super thick, rich and creamy plus there was a whole table of toppings set out so we could cover it in what we liked! Of course I crammed as much as I could into my little pot haha. They were also sampeling thier yummy ice cream shakes to wash it all down which were also delicious. I was also lucky enough to take home (among other things) a come of their chocolate covered strawberries which are such a treat!

New Look

It was one of the warmerst days in a while so going to an AW15 press day was a bit odd, long boots, coats and scarfs - but there were lots of exciting new clothes so as soon as I'd started looking around I'd forgotten all about the sun outside.

As with Boohoo, there was so much suede which I am sure I will be investing in, from jackets to dresses, skirts and shoes - they stock the best suede shift dress I have come across so far, so I am after one of those on my next shopping trip! After a quick pit stop in the kitchen with I was ready to look around the shoes! New Look are always a go-to for new heels as as usual they have lots of lovely things to come, I loved all the tassles! As well as heels, there were loads of new over the knee boot styles which means they will be in next winter, loved that trend last year!!
