LIFESTYLE: Lush Sparkler Bath Bomb

Since its getting so cold now, I love to have a nice hot bath at Andrews whenever I get the chance! Last weekend I took my Sparkler Bath Bomb over to use.  Good timing since there were fireworks going off all night!

The bath bomb itself if a long, yellow, log shape and at first I wasn't too excited about this one as it looked a bit plain on the outfits but since mine was broken in half I could see the secret golden line running though the middle which was very exciting!

As I dropped in into the bath the golden glitter started shooting out of each end pushing it each half spinning around the bath. It smelt very similar to the Rose Jam shower gel and starts off very yellow and orange and quite creamy but once you mix it together you get a golden bath with lots of glitter which I loved!

BEAUTY: Nail Polish From ZOYA

Today I have a new brand of polish to introduce you to - ZOYA. They have released 12 new colours for the summer and I picked a few to show you guys here! I though I'd better opt for a mixture of the glitters and plain polishes so the four I picked are called: Alma, which is a super summery glitter orange, Staasi, which is the other glitter is a lovely forest green. Ling is the first of the two plain polishes and is a deep electric blue and the last one is called Kintridge which I'm wearing on my nails currently!

I think Kintridge is my favourite of the four and actually my favourite pink from my whole collection at the moment! It's so barbie and so something that I wouldn't normally go for but I just loved it! I'm wearing half and half with a special edition glitter from Barry m which my parents got for me! I have had so many compliments on it already.

One thing I have to say about the polishes (well, just the pink one as its the only one I've had time to use properly at the moment) is that it was quite hard to apply - Luckily for me, i know how to paint my nails and control a brush properly (thanks mum haha) I also have alot of patience. The polish was very, very runny and dripping everywhere. It also needs a lot of coats to get a deep colour, I'd say in the photo, my pink nails have 3-5 coats each. This doesn't bother me too much and I love the colours so I will continue to use them all!

BEAUTY: Nail Art UK Polishes

While I was laying in bed too exhausted from my painful wisdom teeth to move the other day, my mum came in with a package that had just arrived for me which certainly cheered me up! New nail polishes yey! My nails had been horrible and bear since my little operation because I had to take it off so when these arrived I was excited to make my hands look pretty again! even if the rest of me still looked terrible haha.

I have always been a fan of the nail art colours, they are quite thick which I always like in a polish as it makes the colour look deep and dense, this is a must for me, I hate wishy washy polishes! They have easy to use brushes and a good shape bottle and they have the best range of colours with cute little names. I was sent two pastels, two neon's and two glitters! I went straight in for the pastel blue with a glitter accent - perfect for spring. I'm really into pastel nails at the moment, but the right kind, I hate when they are too light and just blend into my skin tone. The neon's are going to be great for summer and I love a glitter mani all year round! and they took a good 3 days to start chipping, not bad!!

LIFESTYLE: Mothers Day With H Samuel

With Mothers day coming up,  H.Samuel challenged me to make a crafty little gift for my Mum, they sent me some paint and some glitter and some other bits and pieces for me to make her something a little more sentimental. It was such a cute idea and a great chance to get messy and creative - something that I don't do enough and although it was like kids play, I really got into it and had a lot of fun, and I ended up with something super cute!

BEAUTY: Valentines Day Nails With Ciate & Nail Art

Happy Valentines Day! 

Andrew and I are going to Nandos after he's finished at work today, how romantic haha I have a free whole chicken to claim, at at least he wont be hungry. Hopefully nails these will last me though the weekend for our other plans as well, although its not a big deal if not, this bottle is so cute and mini I can just keep it in my purse for a top up! 

So here's what I decided to do with my nails for the occasion, I wanted a nice, thick, in your face, charismas style glitter but for valentines day and I found the perfect one in this mini Ciate Christmas polish called candy cane, but it''s pink. I picked it up at the access all ASOS party over Christmas  along with a couple of other colours. This is the first time my nails have been gel free for ages so it was a great time to give it a test with my little top coat from Nail Art. The polish itself is very thick and although it's a little hard to control, that's the way I wanted it, I'd much rather this than it be all loose and doesn't hold the glitter properly. At first I was a bit worried about the bottle being so small, but I've done all my nails and there still seems to be a load left. 

Ciate do the prettiest colours and I'd definitely use them again!
