BEAUTY: Sure Invisible Black & White Diamond

As I'm sure you guys will know from the TV ads at least - Sure have launched their Invisible Black + White Diamond deodorant and as part of their new campaign they set me a challenge here on my blog! They asked me to post 'your idea of my life in black + white'

Firstly I just wanted to say that this is now the deodorant that I use everyday and it works great for me! The whole no stain thing is a lifesaver considering I wear so much black and I'm usually in a rush so saving that extra five minutes that I'm usually trying to get rid of the white powder on my top is great. As well as that it's 48 hour protection which is great for me - Obvs I'm not going to leave it 48 hours but while I'm working in Selfridges at the moment, we have to leave our stuff in  a locker which we are not allowed to go back to until we leave so a deodorant that lasts is a must!
Now to the task at hand - this is the kind of thing I could get really lovely dovey about and post a photo of Andrew but I didn't want a soppy blog post, they also suggested some examples like day V.s night selfies or black and white beauty essentials but I had other ideas. The night before I got this email I was on the train into London and just thinking about how much I love getting on the tube. Doesn't that sounds weird - Ok I don't love getting the tube but I do love that the tube is so easy for me to get. Everyone hates getting the train into London but I just feel so lucky that I can just on the train (just about - we're the last stop on the line) and within an hour I'm in the middle of London. It takes me to work, it takes me to all the blog events, it takes me to dinner, to a club, to see my boyfriend - It takes me to my life. So here it is - My life in Black and White - A photo of the train to took me into London yesterday!

FASHION: Blink 182 Band Tee

When I was younger, I was totally one of those scene kids, you know the lightning strike print skinny jeans, the huge trainers, the over straightened, spiky on top, changing colour every week hair and the big criminal damage hoodies, until we moved house in November my whole bedroom wall was covered in Kerrang magazines, mostly pictures of the Blink 182 boys. I was obsessed at one point, I bought all of their books, ordered magazine cuttings from eBay, bought all the CDs (not that I had a CD player haha) and listened to them all day and all night. I'd still say I count them as my favourite band ever. I used to get so upset that I would never see them perform live together but a couple of years ago they reunited and my amazing boyfriend got us tickets to see them at the 02. They were all grown up, but I still loved the music


I may have grown out of the style but I'm still a big fan of rock, all kinds really, screamo, metal, pop rock, emo, punk pop, but Blink 182 will always be my favourite band. So when Blue Banana, an online shop that I was very familiar with back then, offered to let me pick something from their website, I thought it was definitely time for a new band tee. This is so me. I've always wanted this simple one with the huge logo but couldn't find it anywhere, Andrew was shocked that I had managed to finally get hold of one. I totally had to include my trying to be scene but totally forgotten how to photos at the end haha

OOTD: Monochrome Shift Dress

Hi Guys
Todays post is another smart outfit I put together for work before I learnt about the smart casual thing. It's the first time I've worn this dress and I think it is a really good thing to have in my wardrobe. As well as looking very smart I think it is quite stylish as well. I will always love monochrome, but not just subtle monochrome like a little ditsy print, I love big statement monochrome where you can see the contrast between the black and white. I also really love the shape of this dress, it's a very loose shift shape and for going out, this really isnt me, but for work or somthing posh it's great and makes a nice change for me.

I am totally not an accessorie person but when I wear black and white, I like to add in one thing in a bright colour, be it shoes, a bag or in this case and neckalce which I havent worn since my year 11 prom. I finished off the outfit with my favourite pair of shoes, but I'm going to have to stop wearing them soon because it's not summer anymore, waa

OOTD: Super Cute Shorts Set

Tonights post was meant to be a quick one but has ended up taking me forever to write because I got totally sidetracked! It was worth it though, because I made £17 from my new app addiction - Depop, Woo!! It's a mix of ebay and instagram. Anyway, finally back to the post, as I said, just a quick one! Yesterday I packed for my holiday, a week early at that! Were going on Sunday and I'm working most days until then so it just seemed like a good idea.  These photos are of one of my new holiday outfits. It's the other matching set I was going on about a few weeks ago which my grandparents bought for me, which cost a grand total of £10 - total bargian hunters! I love that it's a shorts set and that they were an easy material rather than denim, hopefully will be confortable for walking around in the sun and eating lots.

Not sure what's going to happen to my blog while I'm away, if anyone has any ideas or thoughts on guest posts, let me know!!!

OOTD: Checked Midi

I am such a midi person, I just love them. My favourite thing about them is you put on the dress and that's it, your ready to go out, that's also a good excuse to get one in every colour and pattern - I love to have lots of them in all different prints. 

This is the newest one to my collection and it's maybe the most outragious but things like that don't bother me, I like big prints! I love this print in particular as it reminds me of my younger days when I used to be a little bit scene and wear my checked vans everyday with my green hair and MCR hoodie Uh-ho hahah 

My midis get the most wear when in the evening when Andrew and I go for dinner - that's what we were to do here (after going back to his so he could get changed!) Going out for dinner night are our favourite and we try to have them as often as possible haha.Yum!

I paired the dress with my favourite new demi wedges which I have been going on about for ages on twitter and instagram but I finally got my hands on a pair and they go with everything!!!

I'm not sure why my photos have gone all blurry all of a sudden :(
