Mink Pink at JOY Maxi Dress

London weather is really teasing with one day being hot enough to spend lunchtimes eating ice cream in the park and the next day giant hail stones appearing from no where but this week seems a bit more promising with yesterday being warm enough for a little afternoon sunbathe and apparently temperatures hitting the 20s later in the week! The radio said that, that means that on some days its going to be hotter than Ibiza.

Talking of which, I booked up two holidays this week and I am SO excited! My first trip is later this month and I cant wait for some proper sunshine! We arent going for long but that hasnt stopped me buying a whole new wardrobe for the occasion. I went to Lakeside with my mum earlier this week as as well as buying a couple of bikinis then, I've ordered 6 more.. oops. Look, Summer is finally on its way and I want to be ready!

I was sent this amazing dress by Mink Pink at JoY a couple of weeks ago and this is definitely coming with me! I can imagine wearing it for one of those warm evenings eating dinner and drinking cocktails by the beach! It's fitted at the top and floaty with a slit at the bottom which is perfect for a holiday date night. And if the weather reports are telling the truth, it might even get an outing sooner!

They're offering a free head massage, a hand and arm massage or a luxury manicure to show off the joyful and luxurious experience that comes from tasting one of their new medley bars! They're launching two new flavours - biscuit and fudge or my favourite, caramelised hazelnuts and raspberry pieces!

Most spaces are booked up but they have some walk in slots too! I went yesterday for a half hour massage at lunch and ate much more chocolate than I should have. Definitely worth a visit!

Hasn't it been forever since I did an outfit post?! I've missed doing them so much and I have Andrew to blame for that - he keeps changing the subject every time I mention blog photos and we end up eating lunch somewhere before I realised that I needed them - plus my poor camera is on its way out so it's not working too well at the moment! Little brother to the rescue this time and to be fair, he's quite good! We took these out in the garden with Molly sitting by the side watching haha it was a family affair!

We all know I love a pretty shift dress as they are just so easy to wear! This one is a little bit evening wear for me since it's a thick quilted material with a high neck - I still love it though! Simply styled as always with my best pair of white heels and I'm ready to go!

When I was contacted about the sports shoes Fashionably Fit campaign, I was right in the midst of my January exercise motivation spur, I was feeling fat and I wanted to get fit but I could feel the motivation slipping away.

The campaign was launched in response to the outrage Daily Mail columnist, Jan Moir, caused when she criticised singer Katherine Jenkins for running the marathon in full make up (read more here). The whole idea is to see if bloggers thought looking stylish spurs you on to work harder while exercising. I say yes.

I exercise in my garage on my exercise bike and before now, I'd do it in my pyjamas - An over-sized tee and a pair of shorts. I think the fact that there wasn't a clear change between sleeping/relaxing and exercising, because I was still in my pyjamas, was making it very hard. I really couldn't be bothered but when I started to actually get dressed properly for my exercise I was more motivated, I wanted to do it properly - I did make the effort to get up and get ready after all, and that is exactly what these clothes are made for, they are alot more comfortable to exercise in, that's for sure. I hate when clothes stick me to when I get sweaty, I think that was also part of the problem but there isn't too much loose material here to stick to me and they are breathable, stretchy and comfortable!

In my lovely new matching Nike set, I would even be happy to run in the street (which I would obviously never do in my pyjamas haha). I felt like in my new clothes, I was ready to exercise and exercise harder.

Hi Guys

Todays post is another smart outfit I put together for work before I learnt about the smart casual thing. It's the first time I've worn this dress and I think it is a really good thing to have in my wardrobe. As well as looking very smart I think it is quite stylish as well. I will always love monochrome, but not just subtle monochrome like a little ditsy print, I love big statement monochrome where you can see the contrast between the black and white. I also really love the shape of this dress, it's a very loose shift shape and for going out, this really isnt me, but for work or somthing posh it's great and makes a nice change for me.

I am totally not an accessorie person but when I wear black and white, I like to add in one thing in a bright colour, be it shoes, a bag or in this case and neckalce which I havent worn since my year 11 prom. I finished off the outfit with my favourite pair of shoes, but I'm going to have to stop wearing them soon because it's not summer anymore, waa

With the weather so warm on Thursday and knowing it was likely to be our last day of summer, I thought I better get my Jones and Jones dress out, even if it was only for a few pretty photos! I haven't had anywhere to wear this dress to yet, I think it is so cute but now I’m thinking it might have to wait until next summer as it is a very spring/summer colour. Im thinking something like a summer wedding guest outfit is perfect. Jones and Jones are my go to brand for big events like that and I actually have quite a large collection going on now! They don't fit inside my wardrobe so all of them hang on the outside.

You guys might remember that I few months ago I was invited down to their Spitalfield's store to spend some time with the team trying on some of the new season dresses, I got to pick my favourite one and take it home, so here it is.

I love that all of the Jones and Jones dresses have the extra poofieness (Is that even a word?!) to them with the layers in the skirt. If you know me, you'll know that I love that triangle silhouette of a puffy skirt. This dress is very well made and you can feel the good quality material. If you'd like it for yourself, its currently half price in the sale!

You guys remember my friend Georgia? She came to a couple of blogger events with me a few months back which featured on my blog and we got absolutely wasted - cocktail class then into a launch party. Haha well it seems that she has become my blogger buddy for events, when's she's not travelling the world that is. She was back this week, just back from Thailand and off to Rotterdam on Monday. I had a little event so I thought why not bring her along.

I met her at Mile End station along with some other bloggers and we made our way to Victoria park where they were holding a fun fair. It was quite surreal really, firstly it was very quite as it was a bit of a strange time, just before the evening rush I guess and secondly it was just any old fun fair, it was like a vintage one. We were each given a load of giant old penny things and played around in the arcade for a while. We had one of those creepy laughing clowns in a glass box thing and loads of fortune telling machines and slot machines.

After a good while in there we ventured out past the carousels and down to the bumper cars. Being a good blogger, I thought I'll let Georgia drive and I'll take photos. Bad idea. She's a nut case haha and having Sherin there was not much help either! They spent 10 minutes driving at each other head on while I sat there screaming.

Next up we had a go at the shooting games an then off to the pub!

Hey guys!

I don't know if it has come across to you (maybe in my lack of posing on here) that since I've been back home from my amazing cruise, I have been totally unmotivated to do anything, including blogging. I'm not sure why but I'm working hard to get back into the swing of things.

As I was looking though my folders of outfit photos I came across these and for some reason I thought they were hilarious, no idea why but I they just made me laugh, maybe some of the poses paired with the super funky sunnies haha and I love the ones with Molly as well, So there was that little kick start that I needed to get me back into posting.

I probably wouldn't wear this outfit with sunglasses because if it is hot enough for sunnies, then it's definitely too hot for a midi. But I love the shoes with the dress, both the style and the two colours work really well together I think!

Tonights post was meant to be a quick one but has ended up taking me forever to write because I got totally sidetracked! It was worth it though, because I made £17 from my new app addiction - Depop, Woo!! It's a mix of ebay and instagram. Anyway, finally back to the post, as I said, just a quick one! Yesterday I packed for my holiday, a week early at that! Were going on Sunday and I'm working most days until then so it just seemed like a good idea. These photos are of one of my new holiday outfits. It's the other matching set I was going on about a few weeks ago which my grandparents bought for me, which cost a grand total of £10 - total bargian hunters! I love that it's a shorts set and that they were an easy material rather than denim, hopefully will be confortable for walking around in the sun and eating lots.

Not sure what's going to happen to my blog while I'm away, if anyone has any ideas or thoughts on guest posts, let me know!!!

Finally I've managed to get an outfit post up for you! My poor laptop is over 5 years old and on its way out. It was a gift to me after my operation on my spine when I was 14 and has been one of my most used presents ever. I started this very blog on my laptop and will be sad to see it go although I'm hoping to get a new one for my birthday in August. Until then I am going to strugle very much so with getting photos from my camera onto the laptop. I could do photos from my ipad but the quality isn't very good so I'll have to see. But don't worry guys, I'm working on it!!!

Here are some I took last week, with Andrew and Molly as per. It's getting warm enough for me to whip the crops back out and last week alone I got 4 new ones, uh ho. I need to get on the healthy eating if I wanna have the body to be wearing them all summer!

I love the crazy colours of this one which I got from a super cheap online webstore called Diva Dames for a whopping £5. It was the perfect colour to go with my new kipling bag which was great as I thought it might be a hard colour to find things to go with! I love the little money which is definately a kipling trademark. The bag itself feels very strong and sturdy and has lots of pockets for different bits and pieces. And an OOTD wouldn't be an OOTD for me without a bit of primark. Obvs
