OK! I've turned my laptop back on after nearly three weeks and I'm ready to get started again, finally. It's been a super hectic few weeks obvs and your going to have to bare with me while I get used to actually typing again - I've been finding it a bit hard so far this morning haha. I should start with some holiday photos but as usual, on a family holiday, I didn't really get many interesting ones haha.
My last blog post was on my NYE make up ideas but now I'm going to take you though getting ready and what I actually did on new years eve! As for my outfit I was stuck between two, so I started my day by trying them both on an making a decision. This first one is the one I didn't go with - It's this amaaaazing jumpsuit* from RARE. I loved that it had so many aspects to it with the plunging V neck, the peplum and the sequin body and I am very pleased to say that it actually stays up which I was a bit surprised about. I loved it loads and it was something really different for me but it just wasn't right for the sort of plans I had, I was going for food and cocktails and for me, this is the kind of outfit I'd wear to a club! Isn't it pretty though?

The outfit that I actually ended up wearing was something I bought a few weeks back on a whim. I was literally just scrolling though the Clothing at Tesco site picking up anything that I liked the look of and when it arrived, I noticed that I'd picked out the perfect little top for my night! It's a black crop jumper with gold threat though it which was perfect as the cocktail bar that I went to was going for a black and gold theme! I tried to top with jeans and shorts but finally decided to wear it with a simple black mini skirt and my new boots from ASOS.
 I know I was chatting about my new silver nail polish previously but when I realised it was a black and gold themed night that all changed. The polish that I ended up wearing was actually one of my stand out favourites from the past year so it was quite fitting! Its a gold texture one from Barry M called Majesty and it covers the nails really well. I popped that in my bag for the night along with the other two products I told you about from ASOS! The little mascara sample was great and even small enough to actually keep in my purse. For me, it was great for a more natural look and didn't clump my lashes together! As for the liner, there is no other one I'd use at the moment, its just so easy to apply.

Amongst my outfit and my make up I also wanted to mention my underwear haha. Since either outfit was nice and easy it meant I could wear any shape and colour underwear I fancied. I stuck with my usual every day comfortable fit but opted for this lovely teal set from Ann Summers* (The bra is now just £10 in the sale). I'm not usually one for lace but since teal is my absolute favourite colour, I couldn't resist this! I ordered it online which is very unusual for me and it fitted perfectly - I was very pleased as you can imagine. The cups come with extra removable pads and it was so lovely to find a pair of matching knickers that wasn't a thong.
Now that my outfit and everything else was sorted it was time for a nice relaxing bath before getting ready! I got to use my melting snowman that Andrew bought me as part of my christmas present! He smells like christmas, fizzes up alot more than I expected, left my skin super smooth.

FASHION: #MotelRocksTheParty

Last week I was lucky enough to go along to the Motel Rocks party which was held at the Far Rockaway in Shoreditch! There were rails and rails of new Motel clothes which were amazing as usual, lots of sparkles, satins and lurex, lots of textures and pretty shapes as well! After a look through them all we spent the night getting our nails done and our tarot cards read, eating sweets and  yummy pizza and drinking lots and lots of champagne provided my Friexinet which would explain my lack of good photos! So here's a few snapshots from my night!

Last week I was invited to the launch party for Nostalgia at InTheStyle, which is Charlotte from Geordie Shore's new collection!

I arrived at the club, just off of Oxford Street, to a hoard of papparazzi and was greeted by a glass of champagne! The event was sponsored by Zing Vodka so there were bottles of it everywhere and  it was free vodka all night which was annoying as I wasnt able to stay that long since I had to be up at 6 the next morning for work!

 I picked this pretty two piece from Lauren Pope's collection at ITS to wear for it. I had an interview before the party and I loved that I could wear this outfit, with a black top for my interview, switch my top and I was ready to go to the club - Very versatile!

LIFESTYLE: #FishFingerParty With Birdseye & Funkin Cocktails

The other day I received a huge box from the lovely guys at Birdseye and Funkin Cocktails!The aim of the game was to invite some friends round and have a fish finger and cocktail party so that's what I did!

It was super hot yesterday here in Essex so the perfect day to have an afternoon in the garden. Andrew drove the boys over and while they started setting up in the garden - putting up the posters, blowing up the balloons (which swiftly flew into next doors garden and popped) and getting to work with the Southern Comfort and Funkin cocktails, Andrew and I put the fish fingers in the oven! 

Fifteen minutes later, we brought them out to the garden along with the bread, butter and ketchup and everyone got stuck in to making their #FishFingerSandwiches! The strawberry daiquiris went down rather well as did the Brazilian cocktail mix, very excotic - and between the 6 of us, we made it through 40 fish fingers haha!

LIFESTYLE: Meeting Lauren Pope With JC Le Roux + GIVEAWAY

I had a real Essex girl day last week - I spent the day shopping at Lakeside with my mum before making my way into London to meet the girls, get on the party bus and drive into Essex for a night at Bar Blanco. Raleigh is a part of Essex that I haven't ever visited before but as soon as I got into the club it felt like home, it was just like the my end of Essex clubs, white sofas, sparkling wine and diamonté gems everywhere.

We sat down and popped open the first of many, many bottles of JC Le Roux - a bright pink bubbly wine, very Essex and with its very low percentage it took me at least 3 glasses before I started feeling a little tipsy, and that is saying a lot for me considering last week it was half a cocktail haha. Its very sweet and fruity and far too easy to drink! After the wine, the snacks arrived and we got stuffing our faces, that's when Lauren also arrived! haha she spent a while outside with the papz which gave us all a chance to swallow our food and straighten ourselves out!

We each got a little bit of time to ask Lauren some questions. I knew she lived very local to me but I was quite shocked to find out that she basically lives at the end of the road where I used to live, crazy! One question that I was burning to ask her was do the TOWIE girls really wear heels all day every day like we see in the show?! The answer is no - Lauren likes to lounge around in trainers or smaller more manageable heels, normally from Zara. She is obviously a big fan of Zara - she arrived in the new very popular eye print dress - looking lovely! She also told us the New Look was one of her favourite places for big jewellery!

After a little bit of questioning, we topped up our glasses and got comfy in our V.I.P booth before jumping in a cab home!

As for my outfit, It was put together last minute when I realised that the invite said #PinkParty. I am loving theses kind of smart origami shorts/skorts that are everywhere at the moment. The crepe style material is really comfy and keeps me cool! I paired it with a black crop and my big clumpy boots.
