FASHION: Ways To Wear My Very.co.uk Midi Skater Skirt

Thought I might try a "ways to wear" post for the first time on my blog since I picked up this very bright midi skirt from the last VERY VIP event and I just couldn't decide whether it was a day time or a night time skirt so I just tried both!

Daytime
I paired it with a long sleeve crop top from New Look which was actually the first crop top I ever  bought. It's great for keeping warm! For my shoes, I wore my everyday chunky black boots from Missguided! For me, this is a great outfit for shopping!

Evening
Of course it's another crop top - for me, the only way to wear a midi or anything high waisted is with a crop top! This time it's more of a bralet style from Motel Rocks with my heels which I'm sure you recognise from ASDA

WISHLIST: New Look

With A/W coming along I think it's about time I start doing some winter shopping but the cold needn't be all about tights and jeans. 

Maxi and Midi, dresses and skirts are the perfect transitional items for me, they keep my legs warm but not to covered up and they make you look very feminine and shapley. 

New Look have some amazing maxi dresses, so I've made a wishlist for you!!

All of the items I picked are very dark and textured. I love texture on clothes and having leather look quilting is something completely new for me, I can't wait to try it out!

Lurex sparkle is already a love of mine and this dress would be adding to my collection. It's just a perfect shape and will be great for posh Christmas parties.

I love a good peplum, although Ive only ever worn them as tops so this skirt is a differnt way for me to wear them, It's a classic black midi skirt and very smart looking, it one of those office to party pieces!

OOTD: Red Midi & Demi Wedge

Hey guys!

 I don't know if it has come across to you (maybe in my lack of posing on here) that since I've been back home from my amazing cruise, I have been totally unmotivated to do anything, including blogging. I'm not sure why but I'm working hard to get back into the swing of things.

As I was looking though my folders of outfit photos I came across these and for some reason I thought they were hilarious, no idea why but I they just made me laugh, maybe some of the poses paired with the super funky sunnies haha and I love the ones with Molly as well, So there was that little kick start that I needed to get me back into posting. 

I probably wouldn't wear this outfit with sunglasses because if it is hot enough for sunnies, then it's definitely too hot for a midi. But I love the shoes with the dress, both the style and the two colours work really well together I think!

OOTD: Checked Midi

I am such a midi person, I just love them. My favourite thing about them is you put on the dress and that's it, your ready to go out, that's also a good excuse to get one in every colour and pattern - I love to have lots of them in all different prints. 

This is the newest one to my collection and it's maybe the most outragious but things like that don't bother me, I like big prints! I love this print in particular as it reminds me of my younger days when I used to be a little bit scene and wear my checked vans everyday with my green hair and MCR hoodie Uh-ho hahah 

My midis get the most wear when in the evening when Andrew and I go for dinner - that's what we were to do here (after going back to his so he could get changed!) Going out for dinner night are our favourite and we try to have them as often as possible haha.Yum!

I paired the dress with my favourite new demi wedges which I have been going on about for ages on twitter and instagram but I finally got my hands on a pair and they go with everything!!!

I'm not sure why my photos have gone all blurry all of a sudden :(

OOTD: Matching Aztec Pastels

I've been wanting to get myself a matching set of somthing for months now and then all of a sudden I get two on the same day. woo.

This set, my mum bought for me as part of a present for doing well in my exams. She got it a few weeks ago when we went to Basildon, shopping with my grandparents. We don't go there that often because it's a bit of a trek but my grandparents love it there so we just tagged along. They have a primark, a topshop and a river island so its all good.

This outfit, on the other hand, was quite a different buy for us. You know those cheap shops that knowbody ever really looks in because they all sell kinda the same cheap stuff? Well we looked and found loads of these amazing matching sets. We bought this set in the first of these shops but after a little wander around the centre I realised that there were hundreds of these shops all selling the same thing in different patterns. It was so exciting!

I love the aztec print of this set, the pastel colours, and the midi/crop shape. As well as this set from my mum, my grandparents got me a shorts and crop set in black, white and pink which I'll show you in a few weeks. They are both going to be amazing for my holiday in a few weeks as we are going on a cruise, so this one especially will be great for dressing up in the evening.

I paired the set with my favoutie new shoes from Spy Love Buy. They are so cute, they are my first pair of black sandal heels and I love them. You all know I'm a huge fan of the brand and if you like them too,Click here to enter my giveaway hosted by them!
