FASHION: Motel Rocks Tiara Babydoll Dress in Sun Moon Stars And WAMO Giveaway

Wednesday, 25 February 2015

Wamo is a new app that I have been really enjoying using lately. You create lists of all sorts of things from clothes, beauty items, technology ect. Each item you put in a list, you can then tag saying that love, hate, want or need them. They also run daily competitions with big brands to win the items you love - all you usually have to do it add an item from their store into one of your lists - simple as.

I added this Motel Rocks dress to my need list last week so when the guys at WAMO got in touch with me and offered to have me pick something from one of my lists, this was my first call. This is one of Motels' best ever dresses in my opinion and I'd say alot of people agree because its stayed in they range online and in Topshop for ages. I bought the sunflower version in the summer and I loved wearing it so much that I have wanted a more wintery version for months. The material is light and floaty and it has a cute tie up detail at the back.

GIVEAWAY: £50 Hotels4U Vouchers

Friday, 23 January 2015

I thought it was about time for another competition. This time I have got hold of a £50 Hotels4U voucher to celebrate the launch of their new Romantic Breaks hub which is amazing news!

I know alot of people are against valentines day but I have no idea why. All this "you should show love all though the year" nonsense is rubbish. I just love that it's another day to celebrate and an excuse to do something nice together. Luckily for me, Andrew agrees!

Hotel4U has launched the romantic hub just in time for valentines day and is a great place to see their top London hotel picks! Andrew and I have actually stayed in two of them, one of them for valentines day last year so I can 100% recommend a stay at the Landmark, it was really lovely!

My giveaway will finish a week before V day so you will have time to book the perfect night away whether you want to go away with your boyfriend or with the girls. You don't have to be in a relationship to enjoy Valentines!

FASHION: Festival Style With Jack Wills

Wednesday, 13 August 2014

When Jack Wills got in contact about a competition they are running, I was super excited! I have grown up wearing them and they are still one of my favorite brands! I literally live in my JW tracksuit bottoms when I'm at home (I have the matching hoodie too haha) plus I have so many pairs of their knickers and loads and loads of tees!

For the competition, I have been asked to make a wishlist of my favourite festival pieces from the site which of course wasn't hard as there was so much I loved!

What Do You Think?
If your going to a festival, of course your going to need a big strong bag to keep everything in! There is an extra fastening over the front pocket to keep everything extra safe which is going to be great wen your dancing around. Plus I love the print!

I have been looking for the perfect chelsea boot for years and I think I just found them! These come in four different colours and are real suede leather, although they are perfect, so I would only take them to a festival if it wasn't a horrible muddy one!

You will need a wallet to keep all your very important things together, I.D, debit card ect. I love the tartan print all over this! Jack Wills have some really great prints in at the moment!

Another amazing print haha sorry for repeating myself again! Also would be great for the evenings if it was a camping festival, they are so comfy!

Tee
As well as their lovely patterns, I am obsessed with anything Jack Wills branded! I love the easy fit of this tee which should be great for dancing around in too!

These are super pretty and have lots of subtle detail all over them! I'm definitely more of a shorts and tee girl over a dress for a festival!

Again, I love the huge branding on this and I have the same one with pink text on it which I mentioned earlier! Super warm and snugly for the evenings!

Top
This top totally didn't look like something from JW but I love it all the same. Its cropped, structured and has a cute cut out pattern.

Gotta have something cute to wear with those boots!

Also as mentioned, I already have quite a large collection of these - they are my favorite underwear ever! I love the Jack Wills band and the material is very good quality - These would be a great addition to my collection!

FASHION: Matalan Style Project

Wednesday, 23 April 2014

This week, I was finally asked to take part in one of Matalan's style challenges, I've always wanted to have been asked since seeing them on lots of my favourite blogs!

Basically, Matalan pick four bloggers, give them £50 and a theme to style and outfit around. This time it was ART POP

I picked this pretty little cami top - I love the print. I wear cami's all the time now but this is my first printed one, I like that its bold and easy to see, I'm not a big fan of tiny little ditsy prints.

I also got a chance to push myself to try a trend that I would never normally go for - boyfriend jeans. I don't think I have worn any style other than skinny for five or six years now so I was a bit apprehensive but paired with heels they just fine, it just gives them a feminine touch.

FASHION: Festival Essentials

Friday, 11 April 2014

BANK are running an amazing competition for the chance to win a trip with your bestie to THREE mystery festivals somewhere out in Europe over the summer! All you have to do is write up a festival related post.

Check out full details here and see my entry below!

I've never been to a festival before, well like, not a proper one! I went to EDC last year and that was amazing, just what I wanted, my kind of music, my friends but the two biggest reasons for me going, it was 20 minutes away on the tube and there was no camping involved! haha I'm such a baby, I cant handle normal camping in a calm field let alone a whole week of it in amidst the craziness! I love the whole festival vibe but only as long as at the end of the day I get to go home, shower and get into my bed hahaha.

Obviously, I dont know much about camping essentials, but for a good day festival, here what I need!
Jujus - BANK
Jujus are just so comfy, and summery and the babes give you a little bit of height too - gotta love them!

Headband - Crown & Glory
Constantly lusting after these whole lotta Rosie headbands, there are different colours every season. I'm currently loving this blue one!

Perfect to keep your phone and money in leaving your hands free to dance, drink and eat overpriced  ice cream with!

Mini deodorant and Batiste - Superdrug
These will be very useful I'm sure and you can squeeze them in next to your phone, they are so small and cute!

Light Denim shorts - River Island
I'm not sure why but I would only wear light denim to a festival (for EDC I wore white shorts) I think it just adds to the summer vibe!

Crop Top - Missguided
Tiny little crop top is always best, lets face it, your going to get sweaty and having a tight tee sticking to your underarms isn't fun!

 Kimono - Boohoo
Fun colours, lightweight and nice to keep you a bit warmer when it gets late!

So, Those are my festival essentials - What are yours?

FASHION: Clothes I Simply Can’t Live Without

Tuesday, 1 April 2014

If you read my blog you will probably know the one item of clothing that I cannot live with out! my super, super cheap, actually black, not faded, go with everything skinny jeans from Primark. They just look great with almost every other piece of clothing in my wardrobe, they are super comfortable and I just love a skinny fit jean!

I have been wearing Primark skinnies for ages and every few months I'll go out and by a new pair because they fade and thy are so cheap it's not an issue to just go and get a few new pairs. My last installment was just after Christmas. I went to my new local store and picked up a couple of new pair, this time I sized down because they have been a little loose later, so I found two perfect size 6s marked up at £5 which is £3 less than usual, I was happy enough with that, but when I got the to till, the lady scanned them though and they'd been discounted even more, I ended up paying £2 a pair. Bargain of the century for the amount that I wear them haha

LIFESTYLE: Mothers Day With H Samuel

Wednesday, 12 March 2014

With Mothers day coming up,  H.Samuel challenged me to make a crafty little gift for my Mum, they sent me some paint and some glitter and some other bits and pieces for me to make her something a little more sentimental. It was such a cute idea and a great chance to get messy and creative - something that I don't do enough and although it was like kids play, I really got into it and had a lot of fun, and I ended up with something super cute!
They have also offered me a £50 gift card to give away to my readers so if your stuck for gift ideas (or money) Why not enter and you could treat your mum to something on them!

FASHION: Cheltenham Ladies Day Look

Monday, 3 March 2014

I haven't entered a blogger competition for ages so when this one came I thought why not?! Its a great prize after all! To enter, I was asked to style an outfit of what I would wear to Cheltenham Ladies Day and if I win, I get 2 tickets to go!

I picked this lovely dress from Motel. I know it's not overly dressed up but I just think it is so pretty. Ladies day is on March 13th so it's getting towards spring and I just want to wear something bright and summery all the time. It's super comfortable and floaty and the print is pretty beautiful! I love it!

As for the shoes, I thought a chunky heel was a great idea - more stability and more comfort and great for walking on grass! I threw on my new go-to bracelets. One square studded bangle and 2 pretty pink stretch ones to add a little bit of sparkle and now all I need is a big headpiece and I'd be ready to go! I think a pretty flower crown would finish it off perfectly!

I'd love if you voted for me!

ENTRY: A Day At The Races

Friday, 21 June 2013

Here is my entry to a competition being held over at Casino Choice to style an outfit for the races!

I don't know much about Ascot and all the races stuff but I do know it's quite typical to wear somthing big and crazy in your hair -  normally like a hat or a spray but I liked the flower crown better and this competition is about wearing what you love. I've always wanted a whole lotta rosie crown from Crown and Glory so that's what I've chosen.  I'd have my hair up at the back with little curly bits around my face, that way you'll also be able to see there super classy drop earrings.

The sunglasses arn't a massive part of the outfit (but one of my favourites) and will probably spend most of the day inside my pretty little clutch, we will be in England after all, but if the sun does decide to make an appearance, at least I will be able to whip out the coolest sunglasses around! I've seen a few people wearing them and love how in photos it looks like you've added the sunglasses with a cartoon app or somthing. Soo cool! These are somthing that would be perfect for all summer, not just the races.

I was very careful with the shoes, as much as I wanted to add in a cute pair of beige Zara strappy sandals, wedges would be a lot more practical for sepending the day in a field and they're still super cute. The peep toe also gives a great opportunity to add a little bit of the blue colour to the bottom of the outfit too with Barry M on your fingers and toes.  The dress is from Jones+Jones, a favourite of mine for event dresses, they look amazing and always make me feel great, I love the puffy skirt and the pretty blue colour!

Shoes £24.95// Dress £65// Nails £2.99// Crown £18// Clutch £20// Earrings £18// Sunglasses £25
