These polishes were something completely new for me, I've never tried anything from Barry M's silk collection and there was something that I wasnt expecting - They're Matte. How cool?! That go on all sparkly and dry (very quickly might I add) to a subtle matte shimmer which as they are meant to do, gives it that silk effect - I decided I liked it like that and didn't add a top coat! Same bottle, consistency and brush shape as all the Barry M polishes make these very easy to apply!

I loved each one but my favourites had to be between the green and the purple - considering I'm not really a red nails person I really liked this one as it was a little bit deeper - I currently have it on for Halloween! These are definitely a great range of colours for this time of year, with Halloween, fireworks night and Christmas all on there way!

I got a super excited package from Barry M earlier this month and I couldn't want to show you guys! Sadly, I had to wait because my camera wasn't working but that doesn't matter now because I have my photos and I'm ready to blog plus it gave me some time to try a few of them out!

Below is Barry M's new range of Glitterai polishes

As usual, Barry M glitters are the easiest to work with and two coats are all you need - plus they dry super fast which is always a bonus.

The colours themselves are quite jelly looking bases choc full of holographic glitter which means no sparkle-less gaps (a pet hate of mine, if your going to do glitter nails, you have to do it properly!!) and as a thick glitter lover, another point that I have to make is that the finish was lovely and smooth.

I think they are going to be perfect for this time of year ready for Halloween and Christmas as to me, they look quite magical!

Just fancied showing you guys last weeks nails, I was pretty proud of how my painting skills are coming along although they don't look like this any more, my mum just did my gels ready for Thailand, They're white and sparkly but I'm sure I will also update you on later! 

As you know, I'm already a big fan on W7 and this purple - it's called Liberty - is something a little different for me, I have had lilac before but haven't ever really tried a deeper purple like this one but I do think it is a little bit more of a wintery colour so it will be getting alot more use later in the year!

Today I have a new brand of polish to introduce you to - ZOYA. They have released 12 new colours for the summer and I picked a few to show you guys here! I though I'd better opt for a mixture of the glitters and plain polishes so the four I picked are called: Alma, which is a super summery glitter orange, Staasi, which is the other glitter is a lovely forest green. Ling is the first of the two plain polishes and is a deep electric blue and the last one is called Kintridge which I'm wearing on my nails currently!

I think Kintridge is my favourite of the four and actually my favourite pink from my whole collection at the moment! It's so barbie and so something that I wouldn't normally go for but I just loved it! I'm wearing half and half with a special edition glitter from Barry m which my parents got for me! I have had so many compliments on it already.

One thing I have to say about the polishes (well, just the pink one as its the only one I've had time to use properly at the moment) is that it was quite hard to apply - Luckily for me, i know how to paint my nails and control a brush properly (thanks mum haha) I also have alot of patience. The polish was very, very runny and dripping everywhere. It also needs a lot of coats to get a deep colour, I'd say in the photo, my pink nails have 3-5 coats each. This doesn't bother me too much and I love the colours so I will continue to use them all!

So remember last week when I showed you some of GOSH's new products? I loved the style of the polish so much but just wasn't keen on the colour, so when I heard that they had released a few new colours for Superdrug's 50th anniversary I was very excited - so excited in fact that I had just painted my nails pink when the postman arrived with these. I couldn't resist.

They are all lovely pastel tones with the amazing matte little look, it reminds me of little tinted snowflakes or a sugar frosted cocktail glass. They genuinely got me excited and I cant wait to try out the other two colours, especially the blue, it looks perfect!

As I said before, one coat is more than enough and that is all I did in the photo below, I think they lasted around two days before they started to chip which isn't bad!

I have already had a go at removing them using my new Primark polish remover twist post, and they came off just as easy as a normal polish, That thing is a lifesaver.

A girl's gotta look good for a date right?! W7 sent me over a few of their valentines day pieces, all pretty and pink. We've got a lip-gloss, a lipstick and 2 polishes.

As you may already know, I'm a big fan of the W7 polishes, they have one of the biggest ranges of colours and the coverage isn't too bad either. On these swatches, I've only done two coats, you can see how they would look, applied normally. I'm not so normal, if it were me, I would do 3 or 4 coats as I like my nail colours to be really deep and thick.

The hot pink one is number 104 - Strawberry Daquari (which just so happens to be my favourite cocktail, yum) and the lighter one is number 107 - Pink Pearl. They both have a fine shimmery gold toned glitter in them. As always, the bottles are nice and big and the brush is easy to use. I'm definitely looking to get rid of the black and go for something girly and glittery for valentines!

As for the lipstick, I am loving the new sleek black packaging. W7 have repackaged their lipstick with a bright pop of the colour at the bottom. The lipstick itself has W7 embossed on the top, but that wear down pretty fast once you start to use it. It had quite a bit of glitter in it for a lipstick and has a strange but pleasant smell, I just wasn't expecting it to smell like that. It's called Negligee.

This is one of the Get Glossed collection and its called Day Dream, its a kind of bubble gum pink colour and it has a really lovely scent. It's quite a thick consistency and nicely pigmented. I'm not altogether a huge lipgloss fan, I hate the whole 'wind blows, hair sticks to lips thing' it drives me crazy.
