The Shake Shack Stratford Launch
I was super excited when a real life invite landed on my doorstep inviting me and a plus one to the launch of the new shake shack at westfield! Andrew and I are known to spend a crazy amount of time at westfield, whether its shopping, eating (usually both), the cinema, the casino, the champagne and sky bars and usually staying the night at the premier inn (ok so we I love Westfield) so having one of our favourite resturants open up there is amazing! And after seeing the lovely store and the very friendly staff, (who were actually amazing considering how crazy the event was - smiling all night, dancing and getting involved and very very efficient) we will definitly be back for more!

#PD1stBirthday
I have followed Public Desire and their amazing shoes since they first started so I was super excited to get an invite to their 1st birthday party. I didnt stay too long as I had a whole loads of events (on a work night as well!) We drank super crazy processo and capri sun cocktails with giant fizzy cola bottles in them, ate yummy chinese food out of paper boxes and looked at all the amazing shoes.

PD are for sure the best place to get the next biggest trend. The are so ahead of the game that they are usually the ones starting the trend in the first place.

Gu #DesertIsland
To celebrate the launch of Gú's new single puds (before they were sold as a two pack) they set up a super fun pop up tucked away in Soho called Desert Island and I was invite along for 10 minutes of me time. I didnt really know what to expect.

As I arrived, I was asked what pudding I'd like, I thought I'd try something I wouldnt usually buy while I had to opportunity so I went for the lemon cheesecake, it was also super hot out so I thought that would be the more refreshing choice as apposed to a hot chocolate one haha logical right?

After picking St Lucia as my paradise of choice, I was led down the stairs to a room set up with a table and one chair for me to enjoy my dessert undisturbed. There were fake trees, all the sounds and smells of what I can imagine St Lucia is like plus the giant screen in front of me showing the beach.

I didnt take many photos since I only had 10 minutes and I wanted to make the most of them! It was pretty odd but super fun and I left with a bag full of desserts too! Only in London.

FASHION: One Dress, Three Ways To Wear

Thursday, 4 June 2015

I haven't done a fashion challenge for a while so when George At ASDA got in touch, I jumped at the chance! I was challenged to pick either a dress, skirt or pair of jeans and style them three different ways here on my blog.

If you know me at all from reading my blog, you will be as surprised as I was that I didn't go for a pair of jeans - but whats the fun in that? I wear my black jeans with every thing so that wouldn't really have been much for a challenge.

I decided to go with what I am least familiar with and picked this denim dress. The waist pulls in with elestic and then there is a second layer underneath. I really loved the crochet detailing.

The first style was just plain- Dress, sunglasses and shoes. This is how I would wear the dress if I was on holiday and there was no chance that it was going to get cold all of a sudden like it does here. I really loved these floral mini heels so why not make those main attraction here. They will be great for the summer because they have loads of colours on them and they are a great height to add a little bit extra to those daytime outfits.
The second style is my favourite and incorporates white into the look. It also gives me a jacket which is essential here, even when its summer haha. Its a demin jacket but I love that its white, it gives it an edge - to finish off I've added these white pumps which also have lots of crochet detailing like the dress.
My last style was to take out the white and add black in instead. Its just a lightweight knit but I have been wearing it with everything this week, such a great staple. Paired with my go-to simple black pumps and thats that.

How Would You Style It?

FASHION: How To Wear Culottes

Wednesday, 3 June 2015

Culottes were something I wasnt sure about for a long time. I picked up the perfect pair in primark months ago but then put them down and regretted it ever since, I havent been able to find the same style anywhere, in any stores. So when I spotted another pair that I liked on the F&F site, I thought I'd better just go for it this time.

They are black but with a little bit of detailing which I think is best becuase I woould only wear them with a plain black or white crop top. I think they will be great for work when it starts to get warmer. For those days that arent warm enough for a dress but much too warm for jeans - although for work, I would probably wear them with flats unless I was going out afterwards. Here I have styled them with my simple heels for more of a going out look so something like dinner or after work cocktails.

BEAUTY: Intergalactica, Lush Oxford Circus Special Edition

Tuesday, 2 June 2015

Lush has fast become one of my favourite brands so I am pretty pleased to be able to say that the Oxford Street Store is my local becuase its their new flagship and it has loads of exclusive products! I  have to walk past there every morning on my way to work and I usually spend my friday afternoons in there too waiting for Andrew to come and meet me.
Last week I decided it was time for me to try my first of the exclusive bath bombs. Lush staff are known for being friendly but the staff in that store are so amazing - they just love to chat. I was standing talking to one girl for another 10 minutes after she had already helped a very indecisive me pick what I wanted.
I decided on Intergalactica. It doesn't really look any difference to an ordinary bath bomb from Lush but Intergalactica turned out to be my favourite bath bomb ever.

Firstly it smells amazing and that was the reason I bought it in the first place. It's minty, very similar smelling to mouthwash but not in a bad way. It was one of those smells that you breath in deep to help open your airways. It was super refeshing.

Another thing I loved about it was the way it fizzed. Firstly, it was much fizzier that any of the ones I've used in the past - it started off going crazy from one side of the bath to the next but when it started to calm down, it fizzed in a spiral, I like to think that was all part of the galaxy theme but I'm not sure if that was intentional.
The last part that secured it as my favourite was the colour the water turned when all the fizzing was finished. It was the deepest aqua blue with tonnes of glitter. I couldn't decide if I was happy with the space theme or it was more like being a mermaid princess in the blue lagoon - either way I really enjoyed it and will definitely be purchasing another one soon.

LIFESTYLE: National Biscuit Day

Monday, 1 June 2015

This post is just a Big Thank You to Mcvities who sent a monster delivery of biscuits to my office on Friday afternoon all in the name of National Biscuit Day! I saw them arrive while I was in a meeting so I spent the rest of it dreaming about what biscuit I was going to eat first haha.
My massive delivery had all the classics like digestives, ginger nuts, jaffa cakes and chocolate digestives - which are my all time favourites -  as well as a few that I hadn't tried yet! I love a BN (not as much as Andrew though, he is obsessed!) but I have never seen a vanilla one before - they were super tasty too but what I was very excited to try most was the Deli Choc biscuits. I recognised them from their advert with the library and the llamas (too cute) but I was yet to try one so of course they were the first packet that I tore open! They are sweet and crumbly biscuits covered in a thick layer of chocolate (they comes in white, dark and milk), thats just what we like, plus I thought the packaging was really fun too. They were a little bit gritty for my liking so they wont be knocking the digestives off of the top spot this time!
I had to wait all weekend to get them home to my SLR for some photographing before I opened the rest I but as soon as I was done.. Lets just say I spent the whole of the Britians Got Talent final with a biscuit in hand, and so did everyone else!!
