LIFESTYLE: Roses Only

Wednesday, 19 August 2015

Roses Only is a luxury London based rose florist, but these roses arent like normal roses, they are big, beautiful and luscious and at £70 for 12 roses thats exactly what you would expect!

They offer same day delivery on all London orders placed before 6pm and come delivered in a long brown box wrapped up with a bow (we'll just forget about the rude delivery guy who complained that he had to come all the way from Baker Street when we have a florist down the road.) They arrived on a Saturday so luckily I was at home with Andrew - we took the huge box out into the garden so I could have a proper look at them.

The roses come laid on a bed of tissue paper which made it all the more luxury - they just look so impressive even laying in the box. They even come with their own little water supply packs so that they dont dry out on the journey and they are literally the bigget roses I have ever seen. Here, I have the bright mix which is a selection of beautiful peach and pink roses.

On a seperate note - how cute are my new Vans*?! I loved the whole hawaii collection when it came out earlier this year but slip ons have always been my call and I love that they arent identical. I got mine from Foot Locker and they just so happen to be in the sale at the moment for £20 if your interested!

LIFESTYLE: Autumn Flowers From Debenhams

Friday, 17 October 2014

At the beginning of the year, I had flowers in my room every week for months! Its such a lovely and simple thing to make you feel happy just to have a pretty bunch of flowers! Last week, Debenhams sent me a bunch from their new range.

Their whole range of  Autumn flowers have great names, this one is called Autumn Mornings which is very fitting with its super cute sunrise colours. They are a lovely size bouquet which made them so easy to handle and get cut into size for my vase! One thing that I loved about this bunch was that when they arrived, they weren't fully bloomed so I have seem them grow and open up each day!

I also got a great email telling me when my flowers were being arranged, when they would be sent, their expected time of arrival (super fast flower delivery - they came in a couple of days) and a tracking code too!

Plus, I got a code for my readers which entitles you to 40% off which is huge!

LIFESTYLE: Pretty Flowers To Cheer Me Up

Tuesday, 15 July 2014

Coming home from am amazing holiday is always a sad time but this time even more so, I had the best time ever. I miss seeing something new and amazing everyday, I miss the food and I miss the heat! And the fact that its cold and rainy back home makes it ever worse. The guys at Suttons Seeds sorted me out with a little present to brighten my first week back - they had a pretty bunch of pink flowers delivered to my door in the rain!

So this post is short and sweet just to say a huge thanks! Plus any excuse to fill my blog with pretty flower photos!!

LIFESTYLE: Two Tone Roses From Appleyard London

Thursday, 1 May 2014

Today, I have another new bunch of flowers to show you! This is becoming a bit of a regular thing here haha. Since January this year, I've had a new bunch one after the other, I don't think I ever want to go back to not having them in my bedroom! I just love them, they smell lovely, make me think of summer and they really brighten up the place, especially these ones.

My favourite thing about these, was that I haven't really ever seen any that look like them before. They are a pretty two tone rose from coral pink to a peachy colour. Another thing that I was really pleased with was the size of each rose - each one was lovely, big and supple!

Appleyard have a whole collection of amazing coloured roses. I love the shape of roses but sometimes they are too romantic and it'd feel a bit odd getting red roses any time other than valentines - but these are completely different, they are still pretty rose flowers but with a summer vibe rather than a romantic one!

LIFESTYLE: Spring Flowers From Debenhams

Wednesday, 9 April 2014

I never realised you could go into a department store for flowers but after sampling a bunch from Debenhams this week I now know differently. I picked one this pretty red and yellow bunch from their spring range* and I think they are amazing! They're a very me bunch I love how the bright colours contrast against each other and the flowers were such good quality, they arrived bright and alive - not to mention the very quick delivery time, I think they came within two days of ordering them!

Debenhams were also kind enough to give me a code which gives you £5 off any bunch from the spring range:

LIFESTYLE: Mothers Day Flowers

Tuesday, 25 March 2014

Flowers are always a perfect little extra gift to give your mum on mothers day and I was delighted when The Great British Florist offered to send me a bunch for my mum!

They sent us a pretty pink and cream bunch, perfect pastel colours for this time of year and I love that they are all sorts of shapes and sizes. They arrived in perfect condition and were ready to give to my mum as soon as they did! They were wrapped up beautifully and tied with a shabby chic brown string and tag (which was plain on the back so you can write a cute little message on it!)

How cute is this little story they had on their mother day page about why we give flowers?!

"When young girls and boys were in service - think Downton Abbey - were allowed one day to visit their family - and this day was usually Mothering Sunday. The tradition of sending flowers came from this, as often they were allowed to take flowers from the conservatory or the garden as a gift."

FASHION: My Summer Essentials With M&S Part 1

Tuesday, 18 March 2014

M&S contacted me to see if I wanted to get involved with their summer essentials campaign and of course I did! I may not have a summer holiday booked just yet (I do have a winter one though) but I definitely want to go away with Andrew over the summer!

After having a cheeky look though the M&S website I came across some lovely bits that would be perfect, it was so hot last weekend that it would even be perfect for England if it stays like that! I'm sure when it gets warm I will be heading down to the beach! #Essexlife

Here are my summer essentials from M&S and a few extras!

How pretty is this thing?! I'm not sure the whole drop waist trend is going to suit me too well but I love the print so it might be worth investing!

These are just amazing! This year I want to be comfortable and definitely going to invest in come comfortable shorts rather than denim every day!

I have wanted one of these for ages and just haven't gotten around to getting one yet. When its warm, I wear crop tops every day but I don't have a loose one. This will be great for hiding the food baby after the yummy summer BBQs.

I rub my eyes alot and after a long day of wearing contact lenses it will be so nice to put something soothing and cooling on them and just relax!

A must for me, especially with friends who are all crazy boys who are quite likely to be throwing water (or drinks haha) all over me at some point in the summer I'm sure.

I like to keep my nails all clean and polished. I love these two bright colours for summer and Lieghton Denny have worked well for me so far!

I got a pair of mint coloured ones last year and now I'm after a white pair. I just love them so much and they are super comfy - The perfect way to wear a heel in the summer.

This thing has been on my wish list for years, I change colour choice each time haha I just really want one they are so whimsical and fairy tale-y

I am also yet to get a pair of ray bans. I have the same issue every year deciding whether I should get prescription ones or not and then I never get around to buying anything!

I have just ordered these in white and then a pink pair arrive on the website. Aren't they pretty?! Another perfect chunky sandal for this year!

FASHION: Azerka Rose Print Loose Shift Dress and Inamo St James

Wednesday, 26 February 2014

Maybe you recognise the dress? Maybe just the pattern? Well your right, I loved the pattern so much that I had to get a shift dress version as well as my much loved jumpsuit.

The pretty pinks and green look so good against the black background, I think it's quite edgy and bold but still very feminine! I'd love any garment in this print and Missguided still have a few that I don't have haha Out of the four that's left, I love the playsuit with the lace triming,
As you know, I'm loving shift dresses at the moment, they are great for going out to dinner which I happen to do quite a lot! I also have IBS so everything I eat makes me bloated but in my new dress, who'd know?!
So here it is! Isnt it pretty?

Belt - Brothers School Belt

I'd also wear this dress belted in at the waist to give it a completely different shape, it looks like a different dress altogether!

HAUL: First Week Of July

Thursday, 4 July 2013

Just wanted to check in with you guys and show you all the lovely stuff that I've bought and been given over the last week. Today, Me and Andrew finally got a chance to go shopping so we popped down the lakeside for the morning and retuned to my house to find the camera crew outside filming TOWIE haha. Did you see my house in the last epidsode? If you look really closely you can see my bathroom window and there were also two whole trees from my driveway in clear view, my claim to fame you know haha.

Anyway, today I spent most of my money on Andrew buying him clothes for his birthday which was in January, we just haven't had time to buy his presents yet. I got him three pairs of shorts for our holiday next month so that's a start!

If you follow my Twitter and instagram, you will know that on Tuesday night, he turned up at my house with a bunch of flowers and a Topshop gift card, which was a lovely suprise, so I spent that today and am so pleased with what I got!
Firstly I got a brigth green cami which is super cute and makes a change in shape from my normal crops. It's going to be lovely for those hot days when you want somthing that isnt too clingly.
Next up, I got the biggest bargain ever! It's beautiful black and white Jones and Jones dress for £10 in the sale. Amazing, I'm so pleased with that! It's nice to buy a classy dress once in a while.
After that we popped into primark for some flip flops, they're always so comfortable and at £1.50 each it would be rude not to! I also love that they have glitter in them. Sparkle sparkle.
That's all i picked up today but i also wanted to show you a few bloggery bits. Im not going to give too much away for the jujus and sunglasses are a part of a holiday project ive got going on, which I will tell you all about very soon!
Also this body cream I picked up at an event during the week and it smells so good, I've always loved the smell of oranges and this has a super strong scent! It's from Sranrom.

Full blog posts to come on everything but I thought I'd just show you what I've been doing and spending my money on.

Do you guys enjoy these kind of haul blog posts? I hope so, I've done a few now and was just wondering what you think of them!

Let me know!
