COLLECTION: Bikinis

Monday, 8 July 2013

Yesterday, it was super hot in Essex, so I took my ipad and blogged from the garden with Molly.  It was so lovely to be outside, in the warm sumshine but poor Molly must have been boiling, she has so much hair, or should i say had! The doggy hairdresser came round and chopped it all off, I've gotta get some good photos but you wont even recognise her! At leaset she'll be more comfortable over the next few weeks, as so far this summer she had to make do with sitting in a bush to keep cool hahah
Anyway, all this heat has got me thinking about my holdiday and with the arrival of my much awaited white bikini (that I have been searching for, for weeks) I thought a bikini collection post might be nice for today!

This first one is the one that arrived this morning from Missguided and as I said, I have been searching for a plain white bikini everywhere! They have just brought out a selection on simple colour bikinis which you can mix and match. This was great for me as I have to get 4 sizes bigger on the top half when buying bikinis. It's selling for around £20 so not bad! Be sure to check out Missguided's swimwear range this summer as you ha the most amazing printed one pieces on sale right now! (Got another post about them waiting in my drafts - coming soon)
Next up is my favourite one from last year. Andrew bought it for me in River Island and I love how girly it is with its flowers on the strap. It was quite expensive as I remember, I think it was something like £35.
Another favourite from last year is my flourescent green one from Forever 21. They had loads of plain coloured ones last year so maybe I should have bought a few more at £8 each!
The next two sets share a bikini bottom. I got them from New Look and love how I can wear black bottoms with any bikini top but these two were bought specially to go with it! The blue top was also from New Look, a few years ago when everybody was wearing frilly bikinis. The purple top is one of the only structured ones that I own and it's perfect for things like foam partys as it keeps everything where it's meant to be! It's a beautiful colour and I got it from ASOS for £5 last year.
I've only got one swimsuit type piece from Next. My mum bought this for me years ago on one of our lakeside trips for £30. I like to wear this one with some tiny denim shorts and I love the sparkly diamond detail, they have all stayed attached for over two years now, so obviously Next are very good quality.
And this last one is a bit of the Essex side of me. Since I first saw these on TOWIE and then walked a catwalk for the woman who designed the very exact ones worn on the show I had to get myself one! This came from ebay.
I'm still looking for a few more to add to my collection as I'm away for two weeks which means I have enoguh time for 14 different bikinis if I wanted!!

Let me know if you know of any good swimwear pieces for me to check out!!

HAUL: First Week Of July

Thursday, 4 July 2013

Just wanted to check in with you guys and show you all the lovely stuff that I've bought and been given over the last week. Today, Me and Andrew finally got a chance to go shopping so we popped down the lakeside for the morning and retuned to my house to find the camera crew outside filming TOWIE haha. Did you see my house in the last epidsode? If you look really closely you can see my bathroom window and there were also two whole trees from my driveway in clear view, my claim to fame you know haha.

Anyway, today I spent most of my money on Andrew buying him clothes for his birthday which was in January, we just haven't had time to buy his presents yet. I got him three pairs of shorts for our holiday next month so that's a start!

If you follow my Twitter and instagram, you will know that on Tuesday night, he turned up at my house with a bunch of flowers and a Topshop gift card, which was a lovely suprise, so I spent that today and am so pleased with what I got!
Firstly I got a brigth green cami which is super cute and makes a change in shape from my normal crops. It's going to be lovely for those hot days when you want somthing that isnt too clingly.
Next up, I got the biggest bargain ever! It's beautiful black and white Jones and Jones dress for £10 in the sale. Amazing, I'm so pleased with that! It's nice to buy a classy dress once in a while.
After that we popped into primark for some flip flops, they're always so comfortable and at £1.50 each it would be rude not to! I also love that they have glitter in them. Sparkle sparkle.
That's all i picked up today but i also wanted to show you a few bloggery bits. Im not going to give too much away for the jujus and sunglasses are a part of a holiday project ive got going on, which I will tell you all about very soon!
Also this body cream I picked up at an event during the week and it smells so good, I've always loved the smell of oranges and this has a super strong scent! It's from Sranrom.

Full blog posts to come on everything but I thought I'd just show you what I've been doing and spending my money on.

Do you guys enjoy these kind of haul blog posts? I hope so, I've done a few now and was just wondering what you think of them!

Let me know!

OOTD: Matching Aztec Pastels

Wednesday, 3 July 2013

I've been wanting to get myself a matching set of somthing for months now and then all of a sudden I get two on the same day. woo.

This set, my mum bought for me as part of a present for doing well in my exams. She got it a few weeks ago when we went to Basildon, shopping with my grandparents. We don't go there that often because it's a bit of a trek but my grandparents love it there so we just tagged along. They have a primark, a topshop and a river island so its all good.

This outfit, on the other hand, was quite a different buy for us. You know those cheap shops that knowbody ever really looks in because they all sell kinda the same cheap stuff? Well we looked and found loads of these amazing matching sets. We bought this set in the first of these shops but after a little wander around the centre I realised that there were hundreds of these shops all selling the same thing in different patterns. It was so exciting!

I love the aztec print of this set, the pastel colours, and the midi/crop shape. As well as this set from my mum, my grandparents got me a shorts and crop set in black, white and pink which I'll show you in a few weeks. They are both going to be amazing for my holiday in a few weeks as we are going on a cruise, so this one especially will be great for dressing up in the evening.

I paired the set with my favoutie new shoes from Spy Love Buy. They are so cute, they are my first pair of black sandal heels and I love them. You all know I'm a huge fan of the brand and if you like them too,Click here to enter my giveaway hosted by them!

MODELLING: Warrior Princess

Monday, 1 July 2013

Just a quick post for you guys today! If you follow my twitter or Instagram you will have probably seen this before but if not then here it is!

I did some modelling for jewellery designer, Elisha Francis a while back and here are the final images. The jewellery was amazing, unlike anything I've ever seen before. It was mostly made of chunky rope weaved together and then bits or metal and wool were added into that.

The theme for the shoot was "Warrior Princess" and I hope that I was able to bring a bit of that across in the photos. I really enjoyed shooting with Elisha as usual and loved the whole experience. As you may also know, modelling is my ultimate dream job so doing anything that will bring me another step closer to my goal is always enjoyable and hopefully beneficial.

Hope you guys like the photos and the jewellery!

Let me know what you think!

#LDNbloggersparty

Sunday, 30 June 2013

If your a blogger from London, them I'm sure you will have heard about one of the biggeset meet ups this year. It was arranged by Scarlett and she did a great job, a lovely idea for an event informal, getting all the girls together for afternoon cocktail, just behind regent street, at Honover Square's Dirty Martini Bar.

After a whole morning of trying on nearly every outfit in my wardrobe, I went along and met up with Lorna and Jade at Oxford Street Station. What we didn't realise was yestrday was also Pride and the place was completely packed, so we weaved our way in and out on the hundreds of people and made our way to the venue.

We spent the afternoon mingleing with other bloggers and drinking cockails, although I only had one as I had work. Me and Jade got a 2-4-1- deal on a raspberry Belini (I think) which was very nice!

It was all very exciting finally getting to meet the people that you speak to all the time online and everyone who I did meet was a lovely as expected. It was fun to see if you recognised anyone else from other blogs around and hearing the people recognise you is always amazing.

Anyway, there's not much to say except a huge thank you to Scarlett and here are a few photos for you!
