FASHION: New Years Eve
Happy New Year
Everyone!!
I spend it with
Andrew and his family drinking non alcoholic cocktails (stupid antibiotics) and
eating 7 courses at a very nice Chinese restaurant (The Mandarin Palace, Gants
Hill) which meant that although I wanted to look nice and sparkly for the new
year, I also had to find something which wasn't bodycon, which is alot harder
that you would have thought.
I finally found the perfect dress in New Look.
It was half price in the sale but had a little defect on it, you know that
lurex material where all the glitter thread in the material gets caught up,
well that happened and I was torn, I loved the dress so much but what was the
point of buying it if it was broken. In the end I did but it and the
cashier gave me a further discount so I got this £33 dress for £11 which I was
happy about and as soon as I got it home, my mum did something magical to it
and all of a sudden it was fixed! yey. I wore it was my Missguided heeled
boots. I thought we were walking there but Andrew drove in the end.
The food was lovely,
we had a huge starters platter followed by soup, duck pancakes rolls and half a
lobster each which was very entertaining! Whilst struggling with it, Tim
(Andrews sisters boyfriend) shot a piece across the room which hit me haha next
up was all the main course dishes and a whole fish, head and all. We finished
with lots of fresh fruit and lots of ice cream. I was very bloated by the end
of it, but thanks to my amazing new dress, you would have had no idea!
